What this CD contains:
This audio CD is recorded in very high quality audio and has 8 tracks, each lasting for 10 minutes. The tracks are a mixture of binaural tones and calming nature sounds. The binaural sounds are within the alpha frequency range (8-12 Hz), and serve to stimulate the brain to start mirroring the tones, by generating its own waves that resonate in the same alpha range.
Because alpha waves are naturally generated by the brain when it is in a calm state, encouraging the brain to start generating its own alpha waves in this way, will result in an increasing sense of relaxation and a bolstering of memory retention.
The 10 minute track on the CD each provide sufficient stimulation to induce the desired calming effects. It is recommended that you listen through for the whole 10 minutes to help ensure you get the maximum benefit.
